One of the biggest Modern Jive competitions in Aotearoa returns for 2025! Join us at the Wellington Indian Association in Kilbirnie for an awesome Friday night party, a MASSIVE Saturday competition, and HEAPS of dancing!

Register now using My iDanceAll events at iDance Classic 2025 will be held at Wellington Indian Association in Kilbirnie. There's plenty of parking immediately outside the hall, and we'll have a coffee truck on site for that early morning pick-me-up.
Classic kicks off with a party on Friday night! Doors open at 7pm, and music will play through until close to midnight. This is a great chance to meet new people from all over Aotearoa, catch up with old friends, and do HEAPS of dancing. It's also a good chance for you to get a feel for the venue and the competition floor.
To get you in the mood for our competition, we're going to run all rounds of Swaps & Steals (with the exception of the finals) on Friday evening. That means if you're competing in Swaps & Steals, you need to be there on Friday night. Make sure you're ready to marshall by 8:45pm.
Saturday is where the suede really hits the dancefloor. Doors open at 8:30am (we'll have a coffee cart on site from then too, don't worry), then the competitor's and judge's briefing will start at about 9am. Our first round will marshal at about 9:20am.
The competition will run through the day until about 5:30pm (pending the design of the runsheet after registrations close), which is when we'll take a break for dinner. We'll be back with performances and finals at about 7pm, then run through until just after 11pm.
